Bangkok, Thailand

In my attempt to escape the dreaded Chicago winter, I spontaneously bought a plane ticket to Thailand for the beginning of this year. For two and a half weeks I traveled around the Land of Smiles (truly it is) with the only intention of doing nothing and eating everything.
I swear Bangkok is a city with an electric core running through its veins. At any moment of the day or night, all senses are running at full capacity. On every street corner, you're confronted with the wafting smell of meat sizzling at street vendors' stations, seemingly hundreds of motorbikes darting through traffic, and the dazzling colors of the painted streets as well as each passerby's clothing. And it's beautiful.
This is what I saw.
